Twelve days without pharmacology. I'm ready for my attention span to rebound, but still no signs of that happening. Hopefully soon it'll start to return.

Been a social slug lately- haven't been to the club on a weekend for about six weeks, haven't been at all since mid-December on a Wednesday night, and didn't stay for more than a half-hour then. Have seen a few people here and there, but on average, aside from Wednesday nights, fewer than one a week. Hopefully this will start to change. Monday wilson_lizard and family are coming to visit for an outing, and no one's definitely cancelled for hockey night on Thursday yet, although Jon has downgraded from "definitely" to "probably not" since his team may have a playoff game that night; and our tentative visitor for tomorrow evening hasn't confirmed, so that's a likely scratch as well. At least we're making an effort, right, and that has to count for something?

Temporarily shelved the bit of writing mentioned on Wednesday and replaced it with a new bit which coalesced from something almost dream-like on Friday morning which doesn't feel like a total piece of junk yet. It'll have a bit of a twist here or there, but at present isn't complete enough to bother sharing.

Trying not to obsess about employment things, but thinking about expanding the scope of search outside of the tech sector, although things within my skill set haven't ever been overly plentiful there, either. :-(

Oh, yeah.... i should also manage to make time to play music and/or work on Gaelic with annathepiper. Apparently the road to my house is paved with good intentions, but the avenue to actually doing something doesn't cross it anywhere nearby.
