Oh, yeah.... i should also manage to make time to play music and/or work on Gaelic with annathepiper. Apparently the road to my house is paved with good intentions, but the avenue to actually doing something doesn't cross it anywhere nearby.

Please forgive me my recent recalcitrance. I have of late been undergoing extensive life-altering changes and I have not had much time to concentrate on the finer things in life -- like reliably updating my journal, or reestablishing a sorely missed friendship. I promise, I have not forgotten my recent request of you -- and once I sort out the location of the large fragments of my life that have lately been flying to all points of oblivion, catalogue and itemize them all, then I will be better able to put my energies into coherent correspondence.

I'm somewhat confused by this response.

I manage to have really good intentions when it comes to doing things with people, but when it comes to actually carrying through on them, execution comes up a bit short.

I've been meaning to go play in one of Anna's jam sessions since we moved down to th' big city, and haven't managed to do so. Similarly, we've been talking about working on Gaelic for a few months now, and again, it hasn't happened yet.

Ah. What I thought you meant was that while I made the effort to contact you and ask to reestablish our friendship, I had been somewhat remiss in my efforts to actually effect reestablishment, and a bit less than forward in communication.

Don't mind me, I'm just paranoiac. I think everything has to do with me in some roundabout way or other. If you need me, I'll be off in my own little corner, pretending not to listen to everything you people are saying about me.

Sorry about the confusion. Just ignore me when this happens.

Not a problem, as long as you promise to remember one thing. I don't chastise other people in my journal for what they do or don't do, unless i'm going to be absolutely blatant about it.
