It's been a long time since I slept in on a day when I was supposed to go to work. It's a good thing- must do it more often. Haven't had a lazy day in ages. Wish it had snowed overnight, but no such luck.
Going to try to write a little, and to toss some ideas out for the constitution. More later.

Wheeeee! Got some stuff drafted for the constitution and sent off, finally. Wasting time on IRC, just as if I were at work. The difference is I can sit here in a t-shirt and shorts if I want- whereas it's cold enough that I wouldn't go outside without wearing a little more. ;-)
Weather forecast is still calling for a chance of snow tonight. Figures. Couldn't wait until Sunday night.
Alexander's being really clingy at present. Guess he just wants attention. He's wearing his Red Wings outfit, and has almost outgrown it. He's grown so fast.
Anyway, enough rambling for now. Must find and consume comestibles.

It has been a nice relaxing day. Haven't gotten a lot of anything done, but haven't worried about it either. Weather is calling for a chance of snow tonight, which would be nice, if it got here. Hopefully we'll get some, and it'll last longer than the usual Puget Sound snowfall, which is generally gone by noon the next day.

Vanessa wants a journal of her own, and as soon as I get a code, I'll create one for her. Maybe we should make one for alexander too, although all he'd probably put in his would be questions- he must ask a hundred or more a day. Well, at least he's inquisitive.

IRON CHEF!
I don't know why I love watching the show. They never have anything I'd actually eat on it, but it's somehow compelling anyway. Just for the record, Sakai-san won again....

Just finished the Imbas mail. Seems there's more SPAM than anything else- I get a few real inquiries a week, and just about every piece of SPAM out there. Can't wait do redo the website and modify the email addresses so that they're not so easily spidered. Watching Sex and the City on HBO. Eventually I'll get the names of the characters straight- but haven't yet. The little redhead in the show reminds me so much of our friend Sarah, Unfortunately for her, she's moved to Florida, and, having been there, all I can say is "I'm sorry."
Which brings up a question: how do you tell a friend that s/he is about to make a mistake? It just seemed that moving from the Pacific Northwest to Tampa Bay after her divorce was one of those situations which demanded more thought- it really seemed like a knee-jerk reaction. Hope she's doing well. I think we're the only people from here who are in even semi-regular contact, which may just go to prove that people are, all in all, pond scum. Or maybe the rest of her friends here just thought that she gave up on them, not the other way around. I guess I shouldn't judge their motives
On a completely different page, I'm getting concerned about the future of Imbas. It doesn't seem as if anyone on the council is really doing anything, and I can't get the go-ahead to do things myself until the current owners of various responsibilities relinquish them. So, instead of being productive, I'm sitting waiting, and getting more lethargic with every passing week.
