Jun. 22nd, 2002 09:00 pmWow. Prom last night. Pretty fun. Haven't seen any pictures posted yet from it, but will post one with me in it when they're up, just in case anyone's interested. Got to hang out and talk with several interesting people, including a bounteous number of examples of feminine pulchritude, including
darkgoddess7,
vorona,
staxxy and Amber and the excellent conversationalists
necronyx(who was celebrating a birthday) and
chiaspod. Also met Panix and Beta- more folks who are part of both SeaGoth and the Seattle polyamoury communities. Party afterwards, but i was tired and out of it by then. Made it home by sunrise. Slept from about 5 until about 8:30. Woke up congested and in a bright room. Chattered with
damashita about things i'm not going to go into here. Ate blueberry toast (oh, my gods, but that stuff is absolutely to *die* for. Ok, so maybe not, but it's at least good enough to kill or maim for.)
Took alexander to the Museum of Flight this afternoon. We had a blast. Got to sit in the cockpits of an FA-18E and an SR-71. Alexander got to "fly" a scaled down replica of an FA-18 all by himself. Also got to tour one of the planes that was formerly Air Force One. Pretty damn cool. Went to Pike Place Market afterwards, and watched alexander reacting to all the wonderful sights, sounds and smells.
By 6:30 he was absolutely worn out (!?!), or we'd have stayed around that area at least long enough to wish the lovely
heddo98 a happy birthday+1 at Kells- folks would have been arriving for drinks and dinner within a half-hour or so, but the youngling was approaching meltdown. Accordingly, we also didn't make a token appearance at Stax's party.
On a completely unrelated note, i've been doing some energy work again lately, and really have been enjoying it. Going to have to do more. Anyway, enough babble for one post. TTYL!
