Jun. 6th, 2002 12:27 amBack from the weekly meeting of the Legion of the Night at the Aurifice. I did a lot less mingling and a lot more staying put than usual, primarily because we arrived early enough that i was able to get a chai and occupy a spot on the couch, and having won such a coveted prize, stayed put through the evening. As it turned out, it was completely possible to interact with almost as many people as usual, just that they came past rather than being the direct result of the intermingling of little knots of conversation.
I even got flowers, which made my day. Thanks again, Stax. Little things mean a lot to me, and this was a really nice gesture.
Anyway, i'm spared the drive to Redmond tomorrow- Office International testing is having a "morale event" at Deception Pass, so i'll just meet them out there and save an hour and a half or more of drive-time. Yaaay!
Must finish eating soup and get some sleep, though.

Date: 2002-06-06 03:01 am (UTC)Sorry I missed coffee last night. It's a hectic time. I actually met a lovely seagoth before coffee time though and hung out with her for a while. I then booked it home to go to sleep so that I can get to work, oh, about a half an hour ago. Now I have the lovely thing of having about a 14 hour day ahead of me...Aren't I so lucky?
