May. 26th, 2002 11:52 pmall the sensory data from Saturday night. Life gets, um, interesting at times. Guess it has to to keep those of us with short attention spans from getting bored with it.
This whole "being social" thing is really getting interesting, and the exercise in doing so seems to have been good for my social skills in general, and that i'm actually making good impressions with some of those i meet *quelle surprise, n'est-ce pas?*. We'll see where things lead.
I'm finding that i really appreciate being involved in a community that doesn't seem to have a set expectation of what its members are, aside from being themselves. For those of us who have never been round pegs, it's really nice to not have to try to fit into the round peg-hole.
Not to mention i've met some really amazingly interesting people in the process, and for the first time in a long time- possibly forever, i have something approaching a social circle with which i feel really comfortable. Maybe i'm not as anti-social as i used to think. ;-)
