ravencallscrowsAfter a full weekend of chasing little boys, i've finally convinced the youngest to go to sleep.
Went back to tour the ships we didn't get to the other day. Didn't end up doing Talking to Canadians, though, because well, we spent the time talking to Canadians- the people behind us in line were from Edmonton, and in the ninety minutes we waited for a nearly-ninety minute tour, the parents and i spend cracking wise about all sorts of things while![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
darkmuffin flirted with and otherwise amused their two later teenaged daughters and scootercomputer ran around just being himself. Since the whole event was due to end at 3:30, by the time we got done with our tour of the USS Cleveland- at about three minutes to three- we went along with the Edmontonians at their suggestion back to see the Canadian Navy again- and while in line there all helped one of the sub-lieutenants (mistakenly identified as ensigns yesterday) from St. John's fend off humourously-intended barbs tossed at him from one of the first lieutenants from Toronto.
morgaine_x- we know how to identify Newfoundlanders in heaven- they're the ones who want to go home, but do you know how to identify Torontonians? Apparently no one else does either, as no one's found one yet who could pass the entrance exam. ;-)
Still shaking the damned cough i've had all summer. Pfeh. I'm about done with the whole being less than well.
