Mar. 18th, 2002 02:55 pmGotta go to a meeting shortly- about planning automation for upgrade scenarios. I've put a fairly good amount of work into preparing for this meeting; but now, ten minutes before it's supposed to take place, i can't help that there's something major i've forgotten to include. Paranoia is setting in.
I'm so ready to find a job in another department. For that matter, even this one wouldn't be intolerable if there was a little more certainty here, but it's really disconcerting from s software tester's perception to be a year into the development of a product and still be missing big key pieces of what logic would say has to be foundational decisions- things like what's the minimum operating system which will be required for this to work.
I'm going to try not to stress over these things- there certainly isn't jack i can do to influence them- and try just plugging ahead a day at a time until i get to escape to somewhere else.
