What an incredibly lacklustre day. After not coming up yesterday and tentatively planning on doing so today, Crash and Sehra didn't make it today after all. We didn't end up playing our bi-weekly D&D game either- odd ISP connexion and tentative external plans put the kibosh on that.

We mainly spent the day finishing the recovery from Friday night- went to bed early (9:00ish last night), got up at 9 is quasi-preparation for role-playing at 10. When alexander had a toddler melt-down at about noon, we made it a family-wide nap-time, which lasted until 3, when I got up to start on 48-hour s'getti sauce. (well, it's not really a hard-coded 48 hours- it can be eaten after two and be quite good, but given the time to mature it's better)

So, the main course for dinner Tuesday night will be Spaghettini Alla Vellegia, with the Neapolitain sauce the Vellegias taught all of us exchange students to make waaaaaay back in '85. Christine will be joining us for dinner (which makes it sorta like a date, ergo the *Snork!* of the title), primarily because I thought inanna invited her on Friday night and left the definition of when open- and i didn't find out otherwise until i mentioned inviting her. Anyway, i guess it's a good thing- we didn't manage to scare her away right off, and that we get to spend more social time with someone over that age of four, and that we have an excuse to have an inexpensive but rather palatable wine with dinner.
