ravencallscrowsWell, went back to work after missing two days sick. Found out that another member of my team took over the chore of getting a server running, and had access to some information i didn't. Accordingly, in two days he managed to get something done i'd been fighting with for two weeks. In some ways this is good- i don't have to fuck with it anymore; but in others it's bad- it looks as if i don't know what i'm doing. Regardless, i hope to not be in this department long enough for it to have any serious effect any way.
Spent part of the day looking at internal job openings, and applied for yet another- this would be writing content for web features within MSN, which'd probably be something i'd be reasonably content doing much longer than i'd continue to tolerate the continuing crap of having to try to stay motivated testing Office in toddler scribble.
