When Life Gives You Lemons...

Sunkist does a promotion each year called "Take A Stand" where they send interested kids a lemonade stand with the concept that the kids give some of the profits to a foundation or charity. When he applied for his stand, Alexander wrote an essay talking about raising money for the World Wildlife Fund, and apparently, it was really well done- he was selected to represent the area. Sunkist PR got in contact with the local Fred Meyer (who provided a $150 gift card for supplies) and sent out a press release to all the local media, and he'll be having a lemonade sale at the Ballard Fred Meyer tomorrow from 9:30 to 1:30. So, if you're in the area, stop by and have some lemonade and help out the World Wildlife Fund.

We have no idea how many people will partake, but right now, we have over a hundred lemons juiced and ready to go.

I thought i'd finally turned the corner on this allergies/cold/whatever thing which has been lingering for what seems like the last two months now, but have been coughing my lungs up tonight- so hard and so frequently that i've given myself a killer headache. Damnit, why won't this just go away? It's probably time to find a local health-care provider who takes my crappy insurance and get this treated. If you have any idea who resistant to 'conventional' medical providers i am, you have an idea how bad this is now.
