One of these days, i'll have to rationalize purchasing a macro lens if i'm going to do significantly more of this sort of work. Still, it's good to see that we're nearing berry-picking time here in the Pacific Northwest.

I'm a little surprised at the detail which got captured here, down to the splash of pollen on the petal to the left of centre.

Edit: I give up. Flickr is ok for some things, but image quality-wise, putting them in my own gallery is significantly superior, so the same eight images are being transplanted there at present.
