universal_light, who's celebrating today.
Maille work progresses nicely— the shirt needs about 6-8 inches more in length, the sides closed up and whatever type of sleeve done- right now, it's basically a tabard. Possibly it'll be done by next week.
damashita has decided that it's neat looking, so i may be doing a (modified) shirt for her as well at some point- possibly in bright or anodized aluminum. I've seen instructions for making sure that maille bras are properly supportive for more voluptuously endowed women, so hopefully i'll be able to modify it accordingly. I'm thinking that 14 gauge, 1/2 or 7/16" internal diameter will work well- it'll be a little looser weave than mine and a bit lighter. Since we're staying in, i may go do a bit more work on it tonight.
