Feb. 11th, 2003 05:39 pmToday-
damashita's regular outing to see her massage client in Oak Harbor. After finishing with both J. and L. there, she had one in Mt. Vernon to do.
As a result, alexander and i opted out of the trip. We decided to go to the aquarium instead. Yeah, baby! Make the most out of those memberships. Hah! So we met S. by the bronze pig at Pike Place Market and went over to the aquarium. Ended up seeing feeding times in one of the exhibit areas- saw the divers feeding the fish (and doing some general maintenance) in the underwater viewing area and watched them feed the Northern Fur Seals and the sea otters as well. The pair which were on display were Lootas and her cub (calf? whatever otter offspring are)- alexander has a book about Lootas and how she came to the aquarium, so that was neat, although he seemed more impressed watching the staff throw fish to the seals.
S. has now had her monthly reminder of why birth control is a good idea. Someone's gotta do it. Just another public service of the folks at avarielelf.com.
