Almost better than chocolate....

damashita and i had a bit of a chat with hottoastermama today. :-)
I think i've also figured out the mail problem we'd had- apparently our ISP's SMTP server didn't want to talk to the server on her end. No idea why, though. Probably sloppy configuration on someone's part- and if i had to guess, it was probably well intentioned to block the use of the SMTP server to send spam.

Anyway... it was great to talk with M. rather than all just leaving comments in each other's journals. Just a little more personal that way. 'Specially since our track record with people who come to visit us out here in the Pacific Northwest is that they go home and make plans to move out here. :-)~
