(no subject)

Wheeee. Woke this morning, not at all looking forward to approaching the work week. So what's new?

Well, this morning's rising brought with it a slightly scratchy throat. End result: my voice is considerably lower in both volume and timbre. Suffice it to say than neither James Earl Jones or Barry White has anything on me at present in the low and rumbling category.

*Mrrrrrrrow!* All you ladies, try to restrain your unbridled passion. Except if you're anywhere around and feel motivated to act on it, in which case.... Oh, never mind, i'm stuck here at work at least until i've determined that enough of my group isn't around that no one could possibly miss me if i were to vanish early.

Musica eclectica strikes again! 80s wave, followed by contemporary alternative, then ska-flavoured punk. Oi! Sometimes having several gigs of mp3s all in one playlist and randomized is just too amusing.

Silly, i know.

I'm oddly happy with myself. I've redone my journal style and am fairly pleased with the way it is looking now.

The whole time I worked on the Cavedog website i managed to learn quite a lot of web dev stuff and some neat toys like Director. Never had a huge amount of lasting satisfaction from any of it. I take a few minutes and modify my journal layout- mainly changing a few variables in a SQL statement, and i'm happy about it. Go figure.
