and if you believe
that...
For someone, i hope. Mine was pretty mundane.
Saturday: Set out to think about winter holiday shopping. Decided i hadn't been to the U-district for too long, and thought i'd drop in on
revseandoe. Unfortunately, it didn't seem as if he was home- didn't see his car either time i went past his place. Walked around the Ave. a bit,and stopped in to talk with
mediavore while she was at work. It's always nice to see Sarah, who's one of my favourite folk. Ended up going over to Capitol Hill and then downtown, but didn't buy anything. Got home before the rain showers turned to downpours, and caught little bits of Hockey Night in Canada- watched most of the Vancouver- Edmonton game.
damashita ended up getting a call from a friend of hers and having to take said friend to hospital, and didn't return until quite late. After the hockey game, i watched
Iron Chef and called it a night.
Today: Slept in a bit, let
damashita sleep in a bit longer because of her late night. Domestic recreation when she got up for a bit, then the shower with glasses. Went out to run errands and get lunch in the early afternoon. Ended up seeing Katie R.- an old acquaintance (remember her,
revseandoe?), and one of the people upon whom the character Nimuë in my novella was based. She's not quite as attractive as i remembered her, but still rather cute, much thinner than i recalled, almost to the point of looking unhealthy as a result of it, and seemed every bit as flakey as ever. Quiet evening- just planning on watching
Alias and doing a bit of reading.
For as long as the work week seems, the weekends ought to be a little longer.
