(no subject)

Had a good time at coffee last night. Saw most of the usual suspects, and a few rarer spottings. Went for the now traditional pre-coffee walk to get ice cream with heddo98 and wandered about Broadway chattering and getting songs stuck in our heads. All i can say about that is "Way-hey and away we go...." :-p and that i need to get a different song stuck in my head.
After that, i think i spent significantly more time bouncing from conversation to conversation last night than usual. I know i generally tend to stay pretty much put during the evening, and managed to migrate from one end of the collected angst of goths to the other with a handful of stops along the way.
Funny parts of the evening: watching retcon trying to parallel park his new vehicle, a spiffy Toyota Prius; watching said car boot up when he and treebyleaf were leaving; offerring to pick up the front end of said car with transcendence1 to save Riff the indignities of trying to get it out of the parking space. Seeing a happy vorona was a good thing. Watching Jen balance her bowl of white chocolate chunk chocolate cookies on her head. Being invested with mediavore's hairband/tiara not once, but twice. It is good to be the ummm?, not the queen or the princess- wrong bits for that, but ummm...? Ah, yes! It is good to be the Duke of Silly SeaGothim. Or something.

Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained.

Oh, well. This just confirms that it's time to concentrate on looking elsewhere for work.
