After the heat of the past few weeks, it's raining today. Hopefully it'll ground all the various grass pollens that have been wafting around in the currents. It'd be nice to have my eyes not feel as if someone lined the lids with sandpaper.
Coffee last night was nice. It's good to talk with adults around whom i choose to hang out- as opposed to the people at work with whom i pretty much have to interact.
Learned something interesting: heddo98 has a Gollum anti-fetish. I suppose that's all well and good as long as she doesn't end up with a lover or close friend who gives her a pet-name including "Precious."

Well, Wednesday nights have been so much fun of late we're having a private repeat session tomorrow night- dinner and whatnot. We'll have pretty good turnout as well- confirmed "yes" attendees are heddo98, sarmonster, staxxy,revseandoe, transcendence1 and myself. turtlegrrl13 is tentative. No response from darkgoddess7, and ametysta had her work schedule proclude her attendance, but wants to be sure to be invited to the next one.
Haven't heard from Mike if Jason and his better half are going to attend, since i spaced out and forgot to invite them but asked him to pass the invite along. Would have invited gkr as well, but don't have a current e-mail address for him.
For that matter, if you read this and you're in the general Seattle area, are of an age where you can legally be in an establishment which serves adult beverages, and want to eat and hang out with us- realizing that we all know each other from LJ and the Seattle.Gothic crackboard, although none of us are anything like the stereotypical "goth" type- you're probably welcome as well.
As it stands, we should manage to have some food and talk at reasonable volume with good conversationalists and all-round interesting people. This is a good thing.

Hey, it fits. Bunch of odd ducks we are, hanging out on a gothic discussion board, but not fitting the label particularly well.
