ravencallscrowsJust when you think you've got the knack of keeping up with a five-year-old, and, therefore, can deal with anything, try a five and a four. More than twice the effort. I think it's a logarithmic progression, instead. Last night, the boys had a 9:30 bedtime. Tonight, it's 8:30, because all the parental sorts are flat-out knackered from even attempting to keep up with them.
No crises, though today. No kiddie meltdowns. Everyone has been pretty well behaved. Maybe even too well-behaved. Just hope the boys haven't plotted something and arranged to kill us all in the night. So, if you happen to see a pair of little guys driving around Seattle by themselves, it's probably the junior James Gang here. They should be considered armed (each has two) and extremely dangerous.
And, yes, well-behaved applies to the adults as well. Nothing really stunningly earth-shattering to report on that front, not that it was any of your business. Everyone seems to relate well with each of the other two, and we're working at the communication issues which invariably arise when anything other than a group of psychics and mindreaders enters into something approximating a relationship.
