*SIGH*

First of all, this is going to come off sounding passie-agressive whiney. It's not, particularly. No one is targeted at all.

We'd planned on having a Meet The Baby party (kinda like a post-birth shower, but no one's required to bring anything etc.). Somewhere around 40 friends from around the area were invited. Today, after hearing from one of the two co-hostesses that there had only been three RSVPs, and that the second co-hostess was now unable to attend (her family is moving out of state- definitely not a 'fault/blame thing), we decided to cancel the party.

So, on the plus side, we don't have to drive to Burlington tomorrow. On the minus side, it's a little disappointing that that few people had confirmed that they'd be able to attend. Almost enough to make us all feel unloved.

Anyway, if you're reading this and haven't met nicholas, but would like to do so, let us know, and we'll arrange something.

I think you have every right to "whine" or whatever you wanna call it...and I have to apologize for our own dizziness that way. I mistakenly thought we were going to Walla2 this weekend and also thought no RSVP was needed if we didn't plan on attending! Urrrrrrrghh.....

Thanks again for your help today...and humble as you tried to be about it, try to be proud of yourself, okay?? :b So many before you went down to utter defeat...

No RSVP was required for those not attending. What has us a bit bummed is that so few were actually able to attend. 'Sides- you two have already met the baby.

I would have a: Loved to have met the baby, and best of all b: met you and your lovely wife. However...I a: didn't know about it, and b: with my schedule? *sighs* Ah well.
You didn't sound like you were whiney. And even if you did...you are more than entitled to it!
But for me...it didn't sound passie-agressive whiney...sounded like dissapointment. Probably was too.
*hugs you, wife, son and baby*
Be safe and well.

I really enjoyed spending time with you guys and your newest addition. It meant a lot to me!

As you know, I'd been going through some schtuff in my own life and I honestly don't even remember getting an invitation - not surprising though since I still have some 80+ 'new' messages....

Hope to see you again soon. Say, next Saturday for my birthday dinner?????
