Now even conservative stalwarts like Pat Buchanan are savaging the President over his credibility gap.

Excerpting the final two paragraphs, for those who don't wish to read the whole article:
For there is something strange here. If Saddam had these weapons, why did he not surrender them to save himself? If he did not give them up because he intended to use them on us, why did he not use them on us? And if they were destroyed before the war, why did he not simply show us where, and thereby save himself, his family and his regime?

Last fall, Congress abdicated, surrendered its war-making power to a president who demanded that Congress yield it up. If Congress wishes to redeem itself, it should unearth the truth about why we went to war. Was the official explanation the truth, or was it political cover for an American imperial war?

Well, Pat Buchanan isn't exactly representative of much of the conservative side of things. He's been an isolationist for some time.

True, but it's still hot Republican-on-Republican action....

Holy smokes, batman! This totally astounds me. And about frigging time, too!

Now, if only the left would get off its collective butt and actually try to separate itself from the Republican party maybe next election won't be a total waste of time and energy.

If so statement is, in fact, true then my fear is if we go after Bush about the war, what will Iraq think? I mean, now that we've removed Saddam, they are looking for us to help them rebuild and then all of the sudden the main mover of the war is being attacked even from the inside?

Kick 'em!!!!! Grrrrrr

<rant: ON>
Ya know, it's great when people unite for a common cause, but not when it's to follow blindly, with no real information, like sheep after some power hungry, two braincell-ed, jackass of a president who still has the "Oh yeah? Well I'm the son of someone important" mentality... Bastard...
<rant:OFF>

He deserves to be kicked in his damn head. IMHO

He actually deserves much worse, but that's a good start. :)

*faints*

Buchanan said this?! LOL...hot "Republican on Republican" action indeed!! I am more convinced than ever that His Shrubness is incredibly vulnerable, and he'll be going bye-bye next year. His post-war approval numbers are already softening, and much faster than his daddy's...

Goddamnit!!! That's the second time in the last twelve years (of political awareness) that Bucky has said something I agree with. Friggin' hell...
