First for the important bits:
Happy birthday to my clone-sister lysana.
May the blessings of the year to come outweigh even your dreams,
May the desires of your heart be fulfilled,
And may the Divine Ones make themselves real to you in new and unexpected ways.

Then the rest:
New system is up and stable, even though i did something i wouldn't have dared try on any earlier OS- the only parts which are the same as on the old box are the trackball, the hard drives, the cd-rom and cd-rw drive. Not only did we upgrade the system board and proc, but new video and sound as well.

I've got a nasty head cold or flu-ish bug- feel pretty much as if i've been run over by a truck today, but it'll pass. Bleh.

If what I've been seeing is any indication, my love life is about to hit the stratosphere while other elements of my year flirt with disaster and take it home for a wild romp in the sack. May it be more positive than negative for the bulk of the year is all I ask.
