The B'ys Were Right!
Jan. 28th, 2003 11:56 amAccording to information found on an internet map service, there really isn't that much ocean between Boston and St. Johns.
Boston Street runs through the Seattle neighbourhoods of Queen Anne, Interbay, and Magnolia.
St. Johns Place is in Bremerton, just a ferry ride away across Puget Sound.
I can't believe i actually looked this up. See for yourself:

Date: 2003-01-29 06:00 pm (UTC)There's a song called Boston and St. John's which was running through my head the other day- referring to Boston, Massachusetts and St. John's, Newfoundland.
The first verse and chorus goes like this:
Boston St. is just up a few blocks from my house- i happened to be driving past it when the song was playing, and for whatever reason decided to find out if there was a St. John's street/avenue/road/whatever in the Seattle area. Turned out that there's exactly one, and there isn't that much ocean (well, Puget Sound) between this pair.
