Quote of the evening last night (during informal Scrabble at Goth Coffee):

"Nope. But you can use coax. It's even a real word, which is more than can be said for neener, coolio or 'eieio.'"

It is good to be goofy with friends. I think even the hardcore Scrabble competitors had fun, even if we let some words slide and categorically refused to keep score.

Afterwards, off to the Merc with khallis, mediavore and Tracy. Much geek-talk ensued between D. and myself. Oh yeah- and we found a few places where S. is ticklish.

Well, when you make it to Seattle, i'll take you to Goth Coffee. Somehow being surrounded by a bunch of people, some of whom are known for being exceptionally mopey helps. If nothing else, it reminds me that my life is comparatively drama-free.

Big chunks of life suck here as well presently, so we just try to focus on the high points and hope the other things resolve themselves quickly.
