Dec. 27th, 2002 04:18 pmWell, thanks to a kind offer from
greenshadows, i'm not doomed to having to shoot copy prints for the handful of images which may be worthy of sharing.
Since i talked at length about the Carrie-Sarah similarity, though, i didn't feel that it was right to make you wait to see what i was obsessing about last night, so i did quick copies with a little natural light of the Carrie prints and borrowed a digital one of Sarah:
Carrie I.

Carrie II.

Exposure/Lighting Information:
Kodak 70mm VPS-160, exposed at ISO 100. f16, 1/60th sec exposure. 2 lights- 1600 w/s main light in circular softbox; 400 w/s hair light in diffuser softbox; Tiffen Soft/FX 3 filter.
and a "borrowed" one of Sarah. Credit unknown.

Date: 2002-12-27 07:41 pm (UTC)The kind offer is reality now...I got a new Epson this morning, 1200x2400dpi and (way cool for me) with 35mm slide adapter! My family's entire history from 1955-1980 is on slides, including my first photographic efforts from the late '70s. WOOT! :b
