Yup, hockey season again. Actually started last night, but no real games of interest last night. Tonight, we had New Jersey at Ottawa; Vancouver at Calgary; and the Detroit Red Wings at San Jose. Sens played well in the first period, but not particularly inspired for the next period and a half, and lost 2-1. Vancouver got three first period tallies and leads the Flames in the third, and the Wings are up an early 2-0 on the Sharks on a pair of short-handed tallies from Kirk Maltby.
*Sigh* I'm an addict. Center Ice is available here, and the cable company is doing a free trial on it for the first week of the season. It's possible to watch several games in an evening. Might just have to invest, but then i'd probably not leave the house until May or June. *giggle*
I am not going to become a hermit this winter. May need to depend on my local friends to keep that from happening, though. No. Wanna play hockey too. Like having a social life as well.
