Stayed out either entirely too late or not late enough last night. As it turned out, it didn't make any difference- made the trek from Capitol Hill back to North Nowhere without incident, thanks to being able to turn the music in the car up waaaaay loud. Odd music mix, but it worked- Great Big Sea and VNV Nation.

damashita and alexander, ended up at Half Price Books, where i managed to secure two "prizes" from my list of "must haves"- hardcovers of William Goldman's The Princess Bride (and just days after having talked with Sarah/

mediavore about needing one) and Neil Gaiman's Stardust- a book that's such a touchingly sweet story that every lover of a well crafted tale should read, as well as a "must read" for anyone who's convinced that fairie tales are just for children.
Made yummy food for dinner, just winding down now- will crash early and hard tonight.
