Darrington wasn't too bad. I spent a fair bit of the time there hacking at wood with a dull axe.. Watched Larry use the same axe to split pieces of wood 15-18 inches in diameter and two feet long as if they were nothing. Since i'd guess he goes somewhere in the 230-250 range, i'm thinking the added momentum and strength from that added sixty to eighty pounds makes quite a difference. It was still a great stress reliever, although i blistered my hands pretty thoroughly. Came back via Rockport and up hwy. 20, and saw deer grazing by the side of the road. Absolutely amazing. I love this state.
Went to see Lilo and Stitch today. I can't remember the last time, if indeed it's ever happened before, where i cried and laughed uncontrollably in the same movie. It was just neat.
