and, for Laurie, since i've pointed her to this CD, but then found out that it hasn't been released in the U.S. yet (only in Canada- which'd explain why i haven't found it in any stores in the area):

Well, Bif's playing as part of New Music West in Vancouver this Saturday. It's soooo tempting to go, but it's a late show (could catch Front Line Assembly earlier in the evening- wow. Industrial/synthpop/darkwave electronica to ska/punk in one evening!), and the concept of driving back across the border at 3 a.m. (since Bif ends at 2) just isn't overly appealing. Well, since it's B.C., all you under age folk, lemme know if you'd be interested in going, since 19 is legal to drink in Canada. It's been a long time since i've actively gotten to contribute to the delinquency of a minor. ;-)

Anyway, went to coffee at Aurifice tonight. Didn't stay very long- only about an hour and a half. Wasn't feeling overly social, and really tired, and the prospect of the hour-plus drive home tired just wasn't overly appealing. Managed to surprise myself by remembering the names of most of the people i'd met in the last few weeks without being prompted. Wheeee! I'm becoming social, and it's not killing me.
