ravencallscrowsChristine came over for dinner tonight, and stayed to hang out until just a little bit ago. She's finally put in her notice, and is ready to go work somewhere else. Hopefully we'll be able to find her something entry-level in the software industry- tech support or something of that nature, because it'd give her a start on a career while not putting a damper on her nature or personal (pierced, tattooed, multi-coloured hair) style. She's really a sweetie, and i hope we manage to still hang out regularly after she's no longer working a few hundred yards away.
We sat around listening to music for a while, then put Star Wars on- not necessarily an ideal date film, but it was fun. Alexander was his little typical 'push-as-many-of-everyone's-buttons-as-possible' self, but, considering his age not too bad. I think he amuses her as much as everyone else.
Anyway, i'm hoping we all manage to hang out. I've decided the whole concept of having adult friends to hang out with is really a good idea ;-)> and that i need to do more socializing than the occasional lunch with Cadmus or revseandoe.
