awwww :( I know what you mean. I was driving around today with the vents open and my window cracked...it's unnatural I tell you! Where's the snow??? It's almost January, it should *not* be too warm for me to wear my black leather biker jacket!

Not just cold, damned cold! I was waiting for a bus last night, and the Bartells sign said it was 28 degrees. I gave up and called a nice warm taxi.

Same board today said it was 33 at 5pm. If there was any precipitation, it would definately snow.

Huh. I guess this is a preview of what I am probably going to sound like come this time next year. Maybe we can form a chorus...

If it snows, I'll hold you personally responsible.

You mean that stuff on the car this morning didn't count? *scrape*

I'm going to send you to Michigan to be snow scraper slave boy. That is all you will do all winter long; brush off cars and shovel the circular drive - in MY family's driveway! Bwahahahah! I'm not kidding. It's a full season job. There are four vehicles and a circular drive, and a good, oh, 100+ inches snowfall a season.

Pack the longjohns (laanjahns in Dutch!) and welkom to Holland ja!

I'm 1/4 Cherokee, perhaps I can perform some sort of "snow dance"?

Geesh, I mean, Vanya likes the snow, but everyone else out here are whiny butts. "Oh no! It's below 40!"

It's funny. You'll be fine. You'll see people "freezing" and you'll be thinking HEATWAVE!

Snow schmow. 23 years of wading through 3 feet of it, and it gets old. (Don't know what you get in OH, but we got dumped on, being on the lake).

I don't want to be completely smothered with snow, i just want some snow. No more than a week's worth.

Make that one big snow shovel

A WEEK'S WORTH?!?!

Shit.

We can get 3 feet in less than 6 hours my dear Watson.

24 hours x 7 days a week = 168 hours

And 1 foot of snow every other hour...

You'd only want a hefty 84 feet of snow.

heh

No, a Seattle week of snow. 3 inches a day.

My mind just fell in the gutter

There's snow in the mountains?
*ducks for cover*
On a serious note...we might or might not get it. If we do...I'm staying off the streets! The folks in Tacoma are SCARY when it snows!

We get pretty much the same snowfall in Cleveland that you dod in Michigan, and when I lived in Syracuse for four years I got more than 300" per winter. I was in heaven! If it could be autumn and winter for eight months out of the year I would be delighted.

I'm party Cherokee too. I'll have to look into a no-snow dance.
Don't get me wrong. I love how it looks, when I've got a roaring fire to sit in front of, someone to cuddle up with, a good book -and I don't have to go anywhere. I can drive just well anough in the snow to keep myself safe. Add a bunch of bumbling half baked clam heads and I won't go out.

Mebbe that was part of the plan. Snowfall hard enough the UW sends its employees and staff home, but your place is too far to drive. Granted, we lack the fireplace, but the rest could be arranged....

This sounds great!
However, I think the roommate is picking me up to we can head out to where ever we decide to plant ourselves for the evening.
Are you two staying in the adorable podlings for the night?

Well, it looks like I may be going to the party at my brother's. I realized last night that because I had introduced my ex to all of my friends that I'm finding myself not spending time with them, as I don't want to deal with the melodrama & bullshit.
Sigh, I'll take quiet over drama any day.
