This wacky roller-coaster called life
Feb. 26th, 2002 01:40 pmJust got back in from lunch with cadmus, who i've known from the seapagan and seapoly lists for about five years now, but haven't seen in two years or so. It was nice to be able to get out and vent frustrations, and share mutual bitches about MS, the poly and pagan community, and just in general touch base. I'm going to manage to be more social if it kills me.
Now for the "over the hill" part of the rollercoaster- got back to my office to see another flame-out on my desperate efforts to get out of Office in toddler-scribble languages. Oh, well. If two years of working for a newspaper and a handful of technical writing samples don't constitute "sufficient writing and editorial experience" for them, fuck 'em.
Oh, well. Eventually I'll have completed my time in the purgatory that is Office and will actually get to work on something worthwhile.
Meanwhile, i'm going to continue trying to get out of here, and getting the whole social skills thing tuned back up. If i don't have a life, it's nobody's fault but mine, so instead of just complaining about it, it's time to do something about it.
