Under a week until NHL training camps open. Five players from the Seattle Thunderbirds rosters will be attending NHL camps- blueliner Scott Jackson will be attending the Red Wings camp, both Thomas Hickey (currently playing for Team Canada) and Bud Holloway will be at the Los Angeles Kings camp, and newcomers centre Jim O'Brien and goaltender Riku Helenius will be in the camps of the Ottawa Senators and the Tampa Bay Lightning, respectively.
