New driver's license acquired, with the new address, and three whole days before the old one expired. New front tires acquired for the car after one went flat last night. More stuff completed at old house.

Found newborn baby chinchilla in basement- mama managed to get out, and apparently the wee one came while she's been out of the cage- we'd suspected she may have been gravid, but this confirms that.

Will be heading out for revseandoe's party/Seattle movie premiere shortly.
