shadowdaddy. It'd be nice to be able to meet up with folks more regularly for such things, both those with children and childless. mahariel, i'm looking your way in the former category, and at drakemonger et al.; and any number of sprogless folk in the latter.
For the uninitiated: coffee/tea/whatever at the Starbucks on Elliott Avenue 11-ish Sunday morning, followed by trips to the Fremont and Ballard Sunday Markets- the former is more craft oriented, the latter inclined toward being significantly more of a farmers' market, although handcrafted artisan work is present there as well. I think that Ballard has a restriction on the things sold there being the work of the folks who sell them, where Fremont has a number of importers who show there as well.
It's a nice way to spend a Sunday. If you're in metro Seattle and don't work on Sunday, you should at least go sometime, even if you don't come with us.
