(no subject)

Well, only four days behind schedule, FedEx managed to do the sole thing they get paid to do- deliver a package from point A to point B. The skates are very nice, incredibly light. Tempted to put my blade guards on and wear them around the office tomorrow. :-)

I got to move offices again today- back to the same space i was in before. Goodbye, window, goodbye something approaching a view. On the positive side, goodbye neo-con officemate. Also, i get to listen to all the music i want without having to resort to headphones, and my (Serbian-Canadian) office mate notes that my listening selection contains more Canadian content than would be required if i were going to broadcast in Canada.

Finished reading Crashing the Gates by Markos Moulitsas Zúniga and Jerome Armstrong, which is a pretty intense analysis of the political left in the States and some of the how and why it has gotten pushed around by the Vast Right-Wing Comspiracy. damashita has next rights to it, but after that anyone who is intterested locally is welcome to borrow it (gwynn_aaron and greenshadows, i think you'd both find this an easy, informative read).
