Feb. 5th, 2006 08:12 pmI'm just about emotionally exhausted, and have to deal with something at work i'd rather not. Not a good combination. It has left me feeling as if i'm just about to break down in tears at any moment- i'm that completely wrung out.
On a positve note, the ballet was really very nice last night, and the perk that the PNB came up with to induce us to resubscribe (something we were going to do anyway) is going to be really nice. Here's the seating chart:

Our seats were in the second tier, side back- about where the letter T is in the top right occurance of STSB. Resubscribing, our seats next year are the same price that this year's were, but they're in the fourth row of the orchestra, and they've moved us to the new location for half of the remaining season, with the balance being in the Orchestra Preferred area (I'm guessing contingent upon availability), to the right side of the stage facing it, about thirteen rows up.
I'm thinking the fourth row seats are going to be comparable to sitting in that area at a hockey game- slightly too low to catch everything, but still pretty amazing. I know where we were for the show last night allowed for considerably closer scrutiny of the detail and intracacies of what the dancers were doing.
I'm starting to think that a hot bath might be in order.
