May. 8th, 2005 09:55 pmToday was a pretty good day. Mothers' Day brought
damashita two new Amy Brown prints. The day saw the traditional market visits, with the additional company of
indigopowder and A.
Got a compliment on the king's maille bracelet from Ron at Sabando, which just makes me want to do another one in silver.
My hip used to pop on occasion. Now, it has taken to doing so just about every time i get up after sitting for more than five minutes at a time. When it does pop, it really hurts. I'm sick of this new pattern of behaviour on its part, and want to issue formal notice that it can just fucking stop already.
Going over to look at an older Mercedes 240D tomorrow- the price is right on it, and from the pictures, it looks to be in good condition for a twenty-something year old car, but they're engineered to go ages and are supposed to be fairly easy to convert to biodiesel. It's reported to get 30 mpg now, so even if it doesn't gain from the conversion (some cars are reported to do so, but others aren't), it's still going to get pretty good mileage and help cut dependence on Middle Eastern petroleum.
Missed the second part of King John tonight- at this point i may just wait and catch on at the beginning of the next history.,
