It's not that he's a bad kid, but that he's too damn smart for is own good, which results in him being an insufferable know-it-all all too often; and if he lectures me about something, or starts in on another diatribe about something out of the blue and then gets annoyed with me when i tell him that i'm not listening... well, i'll somehow quell the temptation to hit him yet again.
