Fatalities amongst US forces in Iraq have reached the 1000 mark. Nearly 6500 wounded, one listed as captured.
Civilian casualties in Iraq, as reported by IraqBodyCount.net are estimated at between 11793 and 13802.
I'm saddened that this ill-conceived war has taken such a toll, both on the families and friends of the casualties among military personnel; and on the people of Iraq.
"It really depends upon how our nation conducts itself in foreign policy. If we're an arrogant nation, they'll resent us. If we're a humble nation, but strong, they'll welcome us."
End the arrogance.
