First off, natal anniversary felicitations go out to gwynn_aaron and stephanielynch. May the upcoming year bring good things for both of you.

Secondarily: there's been some discussion of the Bush ads with their distasteful use of imagery from the 11th of September, but there's a new ad which is worth taking a peek at, just to have seen ads on both sides of the coin. Go here, and pick the "Keep Our Word" ad from the upper right. I still don't like him, but it's starting to look as if Mr. Kerry may have something of the knife-fighter in him, and this is a nice counter-punch to the Bush ads, especially the last sentence of it, which appears to mock GWB's little "I approved this message" schtick.

Reporter Sam Hemingway of the Burlington (VT) Free Press has confirmed that Howard Dean will be kicking off a nationwide speaking tour on Thursday, 18 March here in Seattle, reportedly to discuss the direction and focus of his new organization.

Dean For America has yet to confirm this report, or announce a venue or time for this meeting. As soon as it's available, i'll post that information for those who'd be interested in attending.
