Kids key on when their parents aren't feeling well. I'm convinced of this. I've had a screaming headache since about 3 p.m., and alexander is being an absolute little hellion now- disobediant, defiant, talking back. He's about to get sent to bed. I don't care that it's not even 7 o'clock. Next time he yells at me, or refuses to do something that i've asked him to, he's going to bed. This is a child-abuse prevention measure, because if he's in his room, and i'm not, i won't be tempted to rip his little head off.

I'm not a huge football fan- anyone who knows me knows that hockey's my game. But, i've got to say, this year's Super Bowl was a damned entertaining game. Don't know about the halftime show- i flipped to CNN to see the ad that MoveOn wanted to air during halftime, but that CBS refused as "too controversial" because it dared be critical of the Bush administration regime, but just watched the Patriots' Adam Vinateri kick a 41-yard field goal to win the game with nine seconds left on the clock.

To see the MoveOn ad, click here. Looks accurate enough- that kids now are the ones who are going to be paying off Mr. Bush's record deficit- and probably their kids as well. Didn't watch the game religiously- it has to be the Stanley Cup finals for that to happen, with one of my favourite teams playing - but nursed a headache, tried (successfully) to resist beating alexander, and got some mail sent out asking the Howard Dean supporters in the immediate area to verify that they'll be attending the caucus this coming Saturday.
