Dec. 7th, 2003 02:43 pmWork goes on on my Quote Generator. It now has seventy quotes (and there are significantly more i've yet to cull through), one of which is selected at random any time one of my journal pages is viewed. There's also a line noting who provided the quote.
I plan to continue developing it further- i'd like the "Contributed by" to actually be an lj user tag, and to write in an if/then/else argument which checks to see if i added the quote, in which case it wouldn't display the contributed element, but would for anyone who != me.
If anyone is using an S2 format which supports a free text element (Component and Boxer presently, i think) and would like to add something like this, please let me know and i'll send you a copy of the layer, which is easily customizable.
