That means Guinness, Caffery's, Jameson's Irish Whisky and the like. If i hear any of you have partaken of the Hiberno-American bastardization known as 'green beer' i will be very disappointed. And of course, drinking and driving is right out
Cultural intersections occur at sundown tonight, when the Jewish holiday of Purim begins. It's traditional to have a reading of the biblical Book of Esther where those in attendance boo the name of the bad guy (Haman), and cheer the name of the hero (Mordecai). It's considered one of the mitzvot to get drunk at Purim- so that one can no longer distinguish between the two.
