Got a call today for a spontaneous telephone interview today, which i think went well- i was asked what the end of the week and the beginning of next week looked like as far as coming in for an interview goes, which i took as a good sign that the fellow with whom i spoke was at least convinced that i don't suffer from complete cranial-rectal inversion.

Finished ripping out the grass in the area of the front yard to the right (from the front door) of the sidewalk in preparation for planting flowers there. What's getting planted includes: Cosmos bipinnatus, Cynoglossum amabile, Echinacea purpurea, Gypsophilia elegans, Hesperis matronalis, Lavatera trimestris, Linnaria maroccnan, Linum grandiflora rubrum, Lupinus perennis, Mondara citriodora, Papaver rhoeas, Rudbeckia hirta, Silene armeria, Trifolia incarnatum, Tropaeolum majus, and Delphinium hybridum. More information, i'm sure, than you wanted. Got done just in time for the rains to start, which i'm taking as a good sign.

Time to finish eathing piroshky and then off for a nap, i think.

Note to self: Don't go out to coffee when you're already feeling depressed and out of sorts. Even if you see all sorts of people you'd ordinarily chatter at, you won't feel much like talking. Not only that, but it'll seem to take longer to find parking on the hill than you'll want to be there.
