Mar. 1st, 2003 03:55 pmIt's a lovely day here in the Emerald City. Too nice to have been inside all day. So i wasn't. I'd show off pictures, but i can't find the cable for the digital camera, a fact which has me extremely annoyed, even though it's a relatiely minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

hottoastermama just after everyone was awake and more or less coherent. After about a half hour, it was on with the day.
I think i've either spent too much time aroundgreenshadows, or now that i live in the city have developed a sudden need to grow things in the ground i didn't have the whole time we lived up in Skagit County. So, much of the afternoon was spent planting some various bulbs- not sure what they are- we inherited them with the house, then ripping up an area bordering the walk in the front yard about 1.3m by 1.5m (or about 4' x 5') in preperation for planting wildflowers or something. Most of this time was spent on the phone as well, again with M.Most of the grass which was removed from this area was transplanted into a relatively bare area in the main section of the front yard- hopefully it'll take. Plans are also in the works for doing something along the back walk- pulling up the various scattered unidentified overgrowth and planting something down there as well.
No definite plans for this evening- the first game on Hockey Night in Canada is Vancouver against Montreal, which should be a decent game to watch; but the late game isn't particularly interesting- San Jose at Calgary, and since the Flames are a rotten team this isn't likely to be much of a contest. May end up going out to the Mercury this evening to visit withmspurplepearl, her husband alton and the various other folk who are likely to be there.
