(no subject)

Today was a really nice day. Went to the zoo with damashita and alexander; and with Gwynn and Lauren. I've been active on the same web design list with Gwynn and Lauren for at least three years now- we're even all founding members of a community for pagan web designers and developers- but hadn't met them before- they're out here for their honeymoon, and doing a little preparatory scouting to move here in the future.

We had a great day at Woodland Park Zoo, then they got the quick drive-by tour of parts of Seattle, and we went out for dinner, went up to Edge of the Circle and dragged them into Toys in Babeland. Thought about going to the European Bakery in the U district, but it ended up being after 9 by the time we got up there, so we just got sucked into a used bookstore, and ended up calling it a night.

Since i'll be at work late tomorrow night before going to the weekly gathering at the Aurifice, as long as i get in to work before my 10:00 meeting, i don't care and no one will really notice- and for that matter, i don't really care if they did. Should try to go sleep, though, anyway.

Well, remember hearing about me not getting today off because there was an urgent need for my presence? Wanna know what it was? So do i. So far today i've kicked off an automation run- which, being test automation doesn't require any intervention, and since it's running 32 different test scenarios, it won't have results for analysis until probably some time around midnight at the earliest (which i'm *not* waiting for)- and poked around at some typical manual testing. Oh yeah, i also went to the weekly meeting, not that anything happened there. I'm just so indispensibly essential today....

Couldn't be. Must be someone else. After all you'd have to be demented to go from work-bitch to South Park in six minutes, or from Dead Can Dance to Godsmack. Oh. Wait. There's Cape Breton fiddle music on my jukebox computer now, and Nine Inch Nails just went off.
Oh, yeah. I am demented. Not harmful to anyone else as far as i know, but off my blinkin' rocker none the less.
