May. 26th, 2002 11:05 amWow. What a fantastically interesting evening. Went to the Mercury with
revseandoe, Stax, and Jason M., and it was an interesting way for 9:00 to become 4:00 the next morning, including spending rather a good bit of time talking etc. with a Basque-born first-grade teacher, who was, to put it succinctly, nummilicious.
All sorts of interesting people were seen, some talked with, one or two drooled upon ;-)
Yummy.
Got home at 7:30, and after about an hour and a half of trying to nap while the rest of the household seemed determined to keep me awake, i'm ready to face the day. It's grey and rainy, or otherwise, it'd be really tempting to go down to Folklife. Instead, i'll take alexander for a walk.
Tomorrow's alexander's birthday- he'll be four, and everyday seems to be more and more ahead of where a kid his age would be expected to be. He's even getting his own e-mail account- ya gotta start turning them into geeks early :-)
