May. 21st, 2002 09:55 pmWhat a mediocre day. On the positive side, traffic wasn't particularly bad, especially this morning, when it was lighter than usual.
Work, though, made up for it with greater than usual suckage- got a new build, which then got pronounced bad just as i finished the file by file analysis of it. Oh, well, that's just a few hours worth of mind-numbingly tedious process wasted.
*Sigh* If only the job market were more promising. I'd be looking for something elsewhere so damn fast. As it is, i'll be lucky to escape without a major fight- i have the sick feeling that my current group would actively try to block my transfer to another if they can at all. Hypothetically, they can only hold an employee within the last six months before a product ships, but i wouldn't be surprised to see this was just the way things are *supposed* to work.
